An average of 60 to 120 students, teachers, and guests from Egyptian national, international, and language schools visit the centre each day to learn about earth sciences, hands-on science experiments, and gain first-hand field experience about Egypt’s natural environment. WESC’s outdoor environmental curriculum is integrated with international and Egyptian standards for science. They also lead students on expeditions to some of the most unique protectorates throughout Egypt and organise multiple funded projects designed to train teachers about environmental learning and educate youth about water conservation and management.
” Fate of Our Earth” is a documentary series leading up to World Environment day event 2010. Hosted on the 5th of June at Al Azhar park under the theme ” Many Species. One Planet. One Future”. For more information: www.wedegypt.com
